The kitchen is Finnish, Puustelli brand, model MIINUS, designed with criteria of ecology and sustainability. The countertop is imported soapstone natural stone and high-end appliances.

The house is equipped with cold / hot air conditioning by independent ducts per room, is fully alarmed, and comes complete with WIFI, audio, and SONOS system ... all automated in a centralized domotic system.

Indoors, white micro terrazzo flooring has been laid throughout with outdoor balconies and terraces, using terracotta according to different formats and colors.

On the walls, outcrops of marés stone are alternated in a careful balance with panels of ancient solid brick, in both cases plastered and painted with lime. In bathrooms, toilet, kitchen and terrace are various coloured mosaics, hand placed. Exclusive rosewood has been used in one of the bedrooms. Reconstituted old pine planks of high quality melis have been used in different places, as an element of closure of the staircase and open environments.

 For the summer months Ibiza Town (Eivissa) is the centre of the world, or so it seems.  

The town itself is centred mainly around the beautiful square (recently pedestrianised) known as Vara De Rey and the main port.

Overlooking the port and the town below from behind its castle ramparts is Dalt Vila (aka the Old Town), dating back to the Phoenicians and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once populated by Romans, Moors and the odd pirate or two, it is now full of winding cobbled streets, charming bars and romantic restaurants.

CONSTRUCTIVE SYSTEM - The original mares walls have been restored and reinforced with old solid brick panels, (originally from northern Spain). The girders and beams are metallic, with curved ceramic vaults, which give greater amplitude to the space and improve the acoustic conditions of the rooms. Mortars and paints are lime, which preserve the hygrometric properties of these materials, while providing texture and colour consistent with the house.

FLOORS -  In interior rooms and stairs, continuous white micro terrazo pavements have been executed. Stone inlays inspired by the traces of sacred geometry have also been incorporated into the lobby. Outside, both on balconies and on the terrace, traditional terracotta has been placed according to various techniques.

EXTERIOR CARPENTRY - The exterior windows and doors guaranteed with the official CE marking, are of red pine laminated wood, with triple layers of glass, for security and with great capacity for thermal and acoustic isolation, resistance to the wind, impermeability to the water, etc. The external blinds are Mallorcan style, made of iroko wood.

WOOD WORKING -  In one bedroom exclusive rosewood wood has been used especially for the headboard of the bed and the dressing area, and planks of old pine wood melis can be found in numerous places throughout, such as changing rooms and wardrobes, and on the wall and ceiling of the second floor.

OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST - The bathroom screens are forged. The walls of the bathrooms, toilet, kitchen and terrace have been covered with mosaic tiles, executed and placed piece by piece. For the handrails of the interior staircase, unique pieces from India have been used, and the lintels of the window openings are made of reclaimed juniper wood.

KITCHEN -  The kitchen is Finnish, from the exclusive Puustelli brand, model MIINUS, made with the usual Scandinavian ethos of ecology and sustainability, and based on the philosophy of the 3R - Reduce, Reutilize and Recycle - and so the materials used, in addition to not having gone through any chemcial or toxic processes during production, also guarantees the quality of the interior air in the kitchen, improving upon even the standards established via European regulations http://www.puustellimiinus.com/en/miinus).

The elegance and functionality of the Miinus kitchen is enhanced and complemented by the soapstone natural stone countertop, which has been imported from Italy. Soft texture and of greenish gray color, one of its main qualities is that it is not porous, due to its high density, and so does not release any substances and can also withstand very high temperatures.
