The bedside tables and the black stool are by Nicolene van der Walt. She combines her roots in contemporary art with classic woodworking to create unique design objects. INTERIOR

The two-storey building, with its elongated structure and slightly sloping gable roof, is characterized by workshop-inspired elements and thoughtful architectural details.

Steel-framed windows, arranged on both sides, flood the interior with light, making the space feel bright and inviting. The north-south orientation ensures ideal lighting conditions for creative work or artistic pursuits. High ceilings with exposed steel-wood joists and visible board formwork add to the authentic industrial feel, complemented by monochrome screed floors that tie the spaces together with understated elegance.
