The dining table and the bench are designed by Frau Caze - combining simple elegance with lovingly designed details. With her fine sense of craftsmanship and a strong sense of comfort, she creates pieces that are reduced to the essentials without losing any of their sophistication.

The bedside tables and the black stool are by Nicolene van der Walt. She combines her roots in contemporary art with classic woodworking to create unique design objects. Her works combine functionality and sculptural aesthetics, creating freestanding pieces of furniture with character and timeless charm.

INTERIOR
In the creative heart of Hamburg’s Ottensen district, not far from the Elbe, this former coach house offers a perfect blend of historic charm and functional design. The two-storey building, with its elongated structure and slightly sloping gable roof, is characterized by workshop-inspired elements and thoughtful architectural details.

Steel-framed windows, arranged on both sides, flood the interior with light, making the space feel bright and inviting. The north-south orientation ensures ideal lighting conditions for creative work or artistic pursuits. High ceilings with exposed steel-wood joists and visible board formwork add to the authentic industrial feel, complemented by monochrome screed floors that tie the spaces together with understated elegance.

At the center of the ground floor is the kitchen, designed as a striking yet practical focal point. Black base cabinets paired with a stainless steel countertop and gas hob reflect the workshop aesthetic while maintaining a clean, minimalist look. Vola fittings and meticulous attention to material choices ensure both functionality and style.

Light sand and delicate ochre tones blend beautifully with the steel blue-gray window frames, creating a refined contrast that feels sophisticated yet restrained.
