INTERIOR
This luxurious, modern finca combines the traditional elements of Mallorcan country houses with abstract, classic modernism. The architecture is outstanding in terms of design, as it combines typical elements of Mallorquin country houses with abstract, classical modernism: mono-pitched roofs on various parts of the building, covered with the typical red clay tiles, form the basic structure, with a raised flat-roofed cube in between. Here there is a covered patio from which it is possible to jump into the pool.
In addition to the building complex reminiscent of farmhouses, the window sizes and arrangements play a decisive, aesthetic role. Large-format, partially protected by open canopies or automatically closing blinds; here too, the play with formats and directions is bold.
The metal material allows the filigree design. The color combination of brick red, beige-grey, smooth plaster and anthracite-grey metal for the window frames is an appropriate, contemporary response to the local building tradition, which also applies to the open space design. Natural stone walls, a natural stone staircase, terracing and fantastic planting with indigenous plants frame the building in a classy and stylish manner.
This gives the building the finishing touch and makes it a harmonious whole of high-quality architecture and landscaping.
LOCATION
The picturesque town of Selva lies at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains. This impressive backdrop adds another highlight to the already attractive little village. Relaxation and seclusion, while experiencing the real rural Mallorca, and so Selva has kept its flair far away from tourists.
Thanks to its location, you have a wonderful view of the Tramuntana mountains, and in places you can see as far as the bay of Alcúdia.
The town has several small supermarkets, numerous restaurants and cafés, including Selvatge (ragout of ramallet tomatoes with local fish!) and Miceli, a family-run restaurant with lots of personality.
Every Wednesday, the weekly market takes place in Plaça Major. Nearby is Inca and the village of Caimari, with many other culinary highlights. Palma city center can be reached in around 30 minutes, the airport in approx. 35 minutes and great beaches such as Playa de Muro in around 25 minutes.
