• historical building from 1886

• AC providing hot and cold temperatures
• shared roof terrace
• possibility to install a lift
• sought-after location in the middle of the Old Town
• furniture included
INTERIOR
The apartment is located on the 3rd floor with access to the roof terrace, from which you can see the cathedral, the harbor and the Parc de la Mar.
With a total area of 80 m², it has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a kitchen/dining/living area.
Due to the pent roof, whose wooden construction is visible, the rooms vary in height up to almost two storeys. Due to its location on the 3rd floor, the apartment is very bright and airy with its lattice windows.
The floorboards correspond with the natural wood doors and natural wood door walls, the roof construction and the built-in historical glass cupboard. This contrasts with the white of the ceilings and walls, which was used consistently in all rooms.
The steel blue of the kitchen unit provides a restrained color accent. The apartment lives from its architectural surroundings. You live in the heart of the city, above the rooftops and close to the sea.
The contrast between the sometimes not so well-kept exterior and the extremely well-kept interior is so typical of the Mediterranean region. Without this tension, the charming, authentic aura of these places would be unthinkable. Vacation and living locations that are therefore so endearing.
EXTERIOR
The building in Carrer de la Missió in Palma is absolutely authentic. It is located in the old town, not far from the cathedral, the marina and the Parc de la Mar with its large saltwater island, children's playground and green areas.
The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of the three-storey building, with a surrounding row of balconies, a strong roof edge, upright window formats with green shutters and natural stone as the base, house corner and entrance door surround.
The two historic iron bay windows, which were designed in the style of the emerging Art Nouveau style, known as Modernismo in Spain, are particularly striking. All in all, a building that so excellently represents the authentic appearance of the old town of Palma de Mallorca, which also includes the colors creamy white, pastel yellow, natural wood and limestone.
The preservation of the building tradition is also based on the specifications of the building authorities, who attach great importance to the preservation of the original appearance.
LOCATION
The Carrer de la Missió is one of the oldest streets in the city. Its pittoresque surroundings offer many beautiful buildings, amongst other an old school which was recently converted into a minimalist design hotel and restaurant. In the same building is the church, a true jewel of late Baroque with a Rococo accent, which makes it unique in Palma.
Situated near La Rambla, a lively avenue that stretches from the Teatre Principal to the intersection with calle Olmos, offering various shops, restaurants and café as well as an underground car park at both ends.
Also the waterfront is just a quarter of a stroll away. The airport can be reached in the blink of an eye (14 minutes) and the closest beach (Platja de Can Pere Antoni) is either 10 minutes by car or by bike.
