Beneath the garden, 90 meters of geothermal piping quietly support the home’s sustainable intent – they simply need renovation to perform at their best. The filters are replaced approximately every six months to maintain a clean and pleasant indoor climate.

Light follows you as you move through the house: small 1-watt bulbs along the stairs and hallways switch on automatically via an exterior light sensor, offering a soft, reassuring glow around the clock. The generous ceiling height of about three meters on both floors enhances the feeling of airiness and space.

The materials have been chosen with particular care. All countertops and drawer frames are crafted from solid Wengé, and the 22 mm solid Aniegré floors run throughout, adding a warm, gentle elegance. Even the technical details are beautifully executed: copper gutters and downpipes, exterior cladding in African Sapele mahogany, and spatolato-finished walls on the lower level, lending a handcrafted, tactile character.

Practicality blends seamlessly into the design, including a central vacuum system that makes everyday cleaning effortless.

Outdoors, the house opens onto an impressive hardwood terrace of around 200 m² with an outdoor fireplace – a place where evenings stretch long, and the transition between home and nature feels wonderfully natural.
