The Mansion by Christians Havn Canal: An Exceptional Noble Property with Historic Charm and Modern Luxury

A truly unique and well-preserved noble property, one of the few remaining of its kind in Copenhagen that has not been divided into multiple units. The main house is connected to a side house on the courtyard side, forming an L-shaped building. A large, impressive gate welcomes visitors from the street.

Behind the gate, there is a cobblestone courtyard leading to a picturesque enclosed garden, surrounded by high walls and a timber-framed wall from the neighboring property to the west. In the courtyard, there is an entrance to the elevated basement of the main house, which has been converted into commercial space. The main entrance to the residence is accessed through the courtyard. A double-leaf paneled door leads to the ground-floor vestibule of the main house, and a few steps lead up to the ground floor of the side house, which contains a large, modern kitchen.

Between the main house and the side house, there is a large original staircase with decorative balustrades surrounding an oval well. On the next floor, facing the street, there is a double living room known as the "Countess Danner's Room" and a new bathroom in the space above the gate, featuring a round-arched bay window. The side house contains a large library.

On the top floor, the main house is arranged with a large triple living room facing the street and a small single cabinet room facing the courtyard, while the side house contains another room. Under the mansard roof, there are several spacious rooms and elegant modern bathrooms. An octagonal tower contains a brick spiral staircase connecting all floors.
