INTERIOR
This beautiful, stylishly renovated apartment is located on the 4th floor and has 5.5 separately accessible rooms and many historical style elements.
On the street-facing side, the apartment offers three generously sized rooms, two of which are elegantly connected by classic double doors — a hallmark of historic Berlin apartments. The balcony, drenched in morning and midday light, overlooks the treetops of the tree-lined street, providing a tranquil, picturesque view.
The afternoon sun bathes the shell-white dining room, highlighting its minimalist, open-plan kitchen adorned with elegant gold accents and Bora hob. Another spacious, well-lit room overlooks the expansive, leafy inner courtyard, creating a bright and airy atmosphere perfect for relaxation and entertaining.
The cashmere-toned bathroom is bathed in natural light, with beige mosaic tiles adding a soft, textured touch. The space is equipped with both a bathtub and a separate shower for optimal comfort. The highlight of the room is the floating washbasin made from natural wood incl. fitting from Zucchetti, which adds a warm, organic element, elevating the overall aesthetic of the bathroom.
In front of the second apartment door, which leads to the side wing staircase, there is an additional half room. This versatile space can also be used as a practical utility room, offering extra functionality to the apartment.
The apartment is ready to move into and boasts a functional yet cozy layout, enhanced by the freshly restored original parquet and wooden floorboards. The harmonious color scheme from Farrow & Ball, combined with a generous 3.30-meter ceiling height, creates an inviting atmosphere. Cassette doors with classic fittings and double-box wooden windows add a refined touch, perfectly complementing the timeless charm of the space.
EXTERIOR
The imposing entrance hall exudes a refined elegance in which classic and modern design merge seamlessly. A gently curved ceiling with decorative moldings conveys a sense of grandeur, while the elegant wooden door with a semi-circular fanlight window hints at timeless sophistication. Deep red, glossy tiles on the lower walls contrast beautifully with the light-colored upper sections, complemented by ornately patterned floor tiles that create both texture and visual interest.
The staircase is also elegantly designed: The dark red painted staircase with sisal runner is lined with an ornate banister, while large windows provide natural light.
The building itself reflects the European modernism of the early 20th century with Art Deco influences. The façade is characterized by clear lines and light beige plaster, which is characteristic of the simplicity of modernism. Large windows, including several eye-catching arched windows, emphasize light and openness. Modest balconies and subtle asymmetry emphasize the functional, minimalist design. The entrance is understated, with a dark door for contrast, while small decorative flourishes - such as the curved patterns above the windows - reference the geometric elegance of Art Deco and subtly emphasize the building's modernist aesthetic.
LOCATION
The apartment offers an exceptionally peaceful location, with the idyllic balcony overlooking lush greenery, making it hard to believe you are only a 3-minute walk from bustling Ku'Damm.
