Townhouse from 1920
Traditional townhouse in the village of Esporles, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, south-west facing terrace and garden. Modernised with central heating and updated kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for a couple or a young family who wants to be both close to Palma and nature in a traditional village that already hosts an international community.
Entering this historic townhouse from the 1920s you come directly into a charming living-room with white washed walls, visible beams in the ceiling and equipped with a generous log burner. Behind the living room and through a beautiful archway there is a dining room with a second log burner and plenty of space for a big table seating many. The kitchen is located at the back of the house facing the lush garden and has a practical layout. From the kitchen and at the same level you reach an inviting terrace, facing south-west with plenty of sun and views over the green surroundings.
First floor comprises two bedrooms, a generous dressing room and a bathroom with views over the garden.
On the second floor and separate from the rest of the house there is a third room - perfect to be used as an office, for creating or just disconnecting, or as a guest-room.
Below the terrace and the kitchen there is a generous space that today is used as a laundry- and storage room and with a second bathroom complete with shower.
The house is equipped with central heating.
A few steps down from the terrace outside the kitchen you reach your own private garden that at the far end is limited by the small stream that runs through the whole village. From the terrace you can spot the neighbouring mountains and the sun when it sets.
The house has a central location in the older part of the village right by the stream.
About the town Esporles
The village of Esporles is very pretty, has a well preserved traditional architectural heritage and a stunning setting on the south side of the Tramuntana mountains and with Palma only within a 20 minute drive.
Esporles has all the necessary amenities, from fruit- and veg hops, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarkets and schools to even an indoor climbing centre and an annual sweet fair.
The main street of the town is lined with big trees and fringed by the torrent running through the whole village creating a green lush environment all year around.
Esporles is a traditional village that appears to be untouched by tourism, which is probably why an affluent expat community has been drawn here. It’s a pretty village and close to Palma, making it a desirable place to live in.
