INTERIOR
This beautiful 4-room apartment in an old building is located in St.Pauli, the well-known trendy district of Hamburg par excellence. Orientation, location on the 4th floor and connection between the front and rear of the building ensure extreme brightness and views over the roofs of the city. The kitchen and the two bathrooms each have their own window, so that light and air are guaranteed here too.
Also, the charm of the historic old building is convincing. Room proportions, doors with door frames, old windows facing the street, floorboards, skirting boards etc. spread this extremely popular ambience, which characterizes such apartments. All of this comes into its own because the color white was almost exclusively used. This contrasts with the warm brown tone of the natural plank floor in all rooms. Black as an achromatic contrasting color sets occasional accents as a wall color or curtain scarves.
Filigree furniture with the highest affinity for Scandinavian design appears light and transparent and does not overwhelm the rooms. By this, a successful oasis of well-being has emerged, in which history and modernity have been handled with great taste; a stylish retreat in the pulsating heart of Hamburg.
EXTERIOR
This old building shows the classic features of historic townhouses. The perforated façade is richly ornamented with a rustic basement, plaster frames and decorative gables on the windows, an indicated French balcony etc.
Inside, too, one can see the historical origins of the banister, the steps and the front door. The picturesque charm of the morbid is cultivated here. Graffiti and raw brick elements are of course included.
LOCATION
The central location, not far from the Elbe and with various parks around the corner make this apartment so special. One is in the middle of the trendy district of Hamburg - the internationally known district of the city - St. Pauli. Here, the crowd of creative, hip and unconventional people hangs out. In the morning, get the city's most tasty Flat White at Törnqvist, served in its chic design shop, then continue for a walk along the Elbe to the rustic Strandperle institution, from where one can relax in a deck chair and watch the impressive container giants.
On the way back, you should either pay a visit to the Levante and taste mezze tapas in flavors of Bahart, cardamom and kumin, or get an unconventional Magic Pizza with aubergine jam, grilled aubergines, Serbian tomatoes and wild garlic at ÜberQuell. And if you still want more, take a delicious "Tell Us a Mystic Drink" at the city's coolest bartender at the Walrus. Hamburg, my love!
You are perfectly connected via the St. Pauli underground station or Reeperbahn S-Bahn station. From here you can reach the main train station in just 8 minutes. You can also easily reach all parts of the city by car as well as the A7 in 11 minutes and the A24 in 14 minutes. And Timmendorfer Strand is only a good hour's drive away.
