INTERIOR
The villa is the epitome of understatement and a unique location right on the Woogtal. A discreet, electric gate leads to a long driveway to the park-like property with a breathtaking view of the castle and far. The entire domicile is secluded and has a pleasant privacy. The reduced luxury of this exceptional property is also reflected in the interior of the house. The entire color concept impresses with its soft taupe, shades of gray and simple white. The floors made of exclusive taupe-colored Spatolato Gobbetto (micro-cement) and fine epoxy resin complement each other perfectly with the soft greige tones of individual walls and wallpapers as well as the grey window frames. The high-quality floors run through the entire domicile and exude a timeless elegance. All interior fittings are subordinate to this color concept. The luxurious matt white kitchen by Punto Uno Arreda, the modern bathrooms in Greige (Dornbracht and Duravit), high-quality built-in cupboards (Punto Uno Arreda) and the high-quality glass fireplace by the Brunner manufactory shine in a purist look. Wood, as a natural-looking material, appears in the private rooms of the house as elegant, dark cherry wood parquet on the upper floor. In the loft / studio on the top floor, as in the rest of the house, the floor impresses with its puristic epoxy resin in greige. The windows, which were all kept in basalt grey, create exciting contrasts.
The large, triple-glazed window areas (Schüco) all face south to the garden and the adjacent Woog valley. From all rooms you have an impressive view of the countryside and the castle. The floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the house underline this special feeling of living - bringing the outside inside.
The restrained (interior) architecture offers space for stylistic variables and individual taste.
Functional Bauhaus variables from Vitra, Cassina, or Knoll as well as classic inspirations fit into this ambience. Colors in all shades and nuances also meet with an adequate response and offer plenty of room for creativity.
EXTERIOR
The way to the property leads through a simple electric gate to the secluded, park-like property with old trees. The elegant villa, which originally dates from the 1950s, was completely refurbished in 2008 and extensively rebuilt. In 2021 the property was again renovated. All of the floor-to-ceiling glass surfaces open to the south to the garden and allow plenty of light to flow through the house. On the garden side, the building was given maximum opening and expansion. From the top floor to the garden floor, large glass surfaces characterize the appearance. A risk-like porch sets a distinctive accent. The facade is kept very timeless and modern. On the north side there are only a few dormers and windows on the facade. Filigree steel columns are also an expression to show modern elements. In the course of the extensive renovation of this domicile, the house was increased and the top floor was expanded as a high quality loft-like studio with roof terrace.
The unobstructed view of the garden and the surrounding landscape up to Königstein Castle can be enjoyed on three levels. The breathtaking views and the park-like property with absolute privacy are the assets of this unique property. The garden and the old trees have been lovingly laid out and surround the spacious property in full splendor due to the size and height of the trees. Here you can experience an extremely successful combination of tradition and modernity in a grown environment. The advantages of functional Bauhaus architecture combined with tradition, which can be especially experienced in the garden.
