INTERIOR
The designer house, which was built in 2011 and partially rebuilt in 2016, with its open design and the many floor to ceiling windows, roof garden and outdoor areas on various split levels for a very pleasant living feeling with lofty-modern character.
The layout is classic - the ground floor is accessed via the entree with cloakroom / dressing room in the large living / dining area with open kitchen and stylish, freestanding fireplace. The professional Aster-kitchen with a large kitchen block from SieMatic, which is kept in gray and natural wood, has an induction cooker, oven, steamer and a practical hot water tap (Quooker). All devices are from Miele. In addition, there is a guest bathroom with natural light on the floor, the master bedroom with view of the nature reserve, a master bathroom with walk-in shower, free-standing bathtub and natural light. From the living room and the associated, large loggia you have a magnificent view over the fields and fruit trees to the nearby banks of the Main. The basement has a technical and boiler room and plenty of additional storage space.
From the open living area leads into the spacious outdoor area with extensive terraces and surrounding garden with automatic irrigation system. A highlight here is the elaborate rock garden and the various sun terraces on split levels. Due to the architecture with its concrete pillars, the house literally hovers over the property and thus creates even more generosity and space in the entire outdoor area, for example for an outdoor pool, covered barbecue and lounge areas. A practical, wood-paneled shed integrated into the house offers additional Storage facilities for bicycles and garden tools.
From the ground floor one reaches the upper floor via a suspended concrete staircase with oak wood paneled steps. On this floor there is a large, open study / fitness room and three other (bed) rooms. All rooms have either access to the second balcony overlooking the nature reserve or the spacious roof garden, which was lovingly and elaborately planted and serves as an additional, green oasis. The floor to ceiling windows and a skylight provide plenty of light and a feeling of "inside out". Another master bath with natural light and walk-in shower completes the upper floor.
The house fascinates with its open, lofty, modern character and the resulting brightness in all rooms. The open construction in combination with exposed concrete and the generous window surfaces create a unique living atmosphere. The elaborately cast concrete floors with underfloor heating, the freestanding fireplace, the many "greens" of the garden and the adjacent nature reserve still creates a "cozyness", warmth and absolute privacy throughout the property.
EXTERIOR
The building was built in the Bauhaus style in 2011 using high quality materials and a well thought-out living concept elaborately. The architectural language is modern and timeless at the same time. The side façade is optically loosened up by stylish and practical shutters that simultaneously serve as blinds and sun protection, while the concrete pillars literally float the house and serve as an additional highlight. The color scheme of the entire façade is in classic off-white and taupe and fits perfectly into the environment. The beautifully landscaped garden, which leads around the entire house, the spacious south-facing terrace and the nature reserve with the river Main in the immediate vicinity create a very special holiday feeling.
LOCATION
The community Mühlheim is located about 10 kilometers from the metropolis Frankfurt am Main. Mühlheim has 28,000 inhabitants and is located on the left bank of the Main, which belongs to the district of Offenbach. Mühlheim not only has a picturesque old town, but is also known by the many water mills, which are also responsible for the name of the place and continue to shape the cityscape.
The central location of Mühlheim offers a convenient connection by car, train or underground in the Rhein-Main area and yet a high recreational value and many shops.
