INTERIOR
This penthouse-like apartment with two spacious north and south terraces welcomes you with an airy entrance that borders on an open living area. From here you can access the private area with guest toilet, master bathroom and bedroom as well as the kitchen / dining area.
Two large terraces border on both sides of the apartment, which guarantee unobstructed, magnificent views of Berlin and plenty of privacy. The conversion into a three room apartment (see alternative floor plan) can easily be done thanks to the convenient location of the connections, thus another bedroom/study could be created.
The interior design is extremely sophisticated: room heights of 3.10 m, floor-to-ceiling, soundproof window fronts, walls, skirting boards and doors in white. The open floor plan elements ensure extreme brightness. The location on the 6th floor with north-south orientation also contributes to this brightness. Solid oak floorboards in all rooms complement the holistic, creative impression and give the feeling of warmth and nature.
This creates an almost neutral background for one's own furniture. Neutrality as a framework for individual living wishes, colored or black and white, strict or playful, factual or sensual - every taste is welcome here.
The Eggersmann luxury kitchen with off-white fronts shows what clarity feels like. All details are an insignia of contemporary luxury design - Bora and Gaggenau are of course also part of it. This principle was also implemented in the bathrooms - elegance staged luxuriously through reduction.
Functionality and tasteful design are also nicely combined in the building. An elevator leads directly from the street to all floors. Underfloor heating and electric sun blinds are other technical features that answer the question of the standards. Everything here is absolutely up to date, all at the highest level.
An oasis without comparison.
OTHER
Other highlights include a video intercom from Busch-Jaeger with recording on SD card, a modern basement and an optionally available underground parking space for 40,000 euro (access by transponder and elevator directly to the apartment floor).
EXTERIOR
The building is called "The View" (of Berlin). The name could not have been more appropriate. From up here you have a unique view of Berlin's center - Neue Nationalgalerie, Philharmonie, Potsdamer Platz, Tiergarten - all of this is just a stone's throw away. In return, the green stretch of the Landwehr Canal provides relaxing moments of nature.
The building ensemble was originally a building from the 1960s, which was completely transformed into this luxurious living ensemble. The design was carried out by the architecture firm ioo.
The architecture captivates with contemporary forms, materials and colors. The stringency is striking and extremely successful. Window formats consisting of squares and rectangles are lined up one above the other and one next to the other, interrupted by closed verticals, which creates this rhythm in the facade. Restrained elegance describes the appearance. Inside, a green courtyard creates a relaxed atmosphere.
All in all, you can experience high-quality, contemporary architecture in the center of Berlin with all the advantages in close proximity: music, theater, museums etc. and of course shopping, eating out, but also relaxing - an exciting mix of everything that life has to offer.
LOCATION
You are in the middle of the action, but still "on top of everything". A morning walk along the Landwehr Canal, an aperitivo in the rooftop bar Golvet, followed by a concert by the Berliner Philharmoniker. All just a few minutes' walk away. Or you can just enjoy everything from your terrace with a glass of Campari Orange in your hand. If you still want to leave Berlin now and then, the main train station can be reached in 9 minutes and Tegel Airport in 18 minutes.
