INTERIOR
This “Altbau”-apartment is located high up on the 4th floor of the front building of a Wilhelminian style building. The apartment has a north and south orientation and  therefore gets plenty of sun throughout the day. It was completely renovated in 2013.

From the hallway you reach first one of the two bedrooms on your left side. It is located towards the quiet courtyard and the high location provides always plenty of light. The room is spacious, thus there is enough space for a double bed and wardrobes.

From the hallway, the second bedroom is situated on the right. Also this one is with its more than 16 squaremeters big enough to place a double bed and cabinets. Through original French doors the room is connected to the living and dining area as well as the open kitchen. Here is also the balcony, where you have a great view over the roofs of Prenzlauer Berg up to Schönhauser Allee.

From the kitchen you can reach the hall and the bathroom through another door. It is decorated in a modern shade of gray and is equipped with a bathtub, and a vanity with a cabinet under. The window provides pleasant daylight.

The entire apartment has original wooden floors and the rooms are more than 3 meters high. Kitchen and hall are equipped with spotlights. The apartment has double glazed windows and a central gas heating. Storage space can be found in the associated basement storage room.

EXTERIOR
The well-maintained house from 1908 has a small landscaped courtyard including bicycle parking racks and a garbage storage area. The house was completely renovated in 1997 and the facade in the courtyard will be renovated in 2019. A renovation and remodeling of the apartment took place in 2013.

LOCATION
The apartment is located just a few steps from Schönhauser Allee and yet in a quiet, central location in the Schonensche Strasse. The little “park without a name” is just around the corner ans invites you to sunbathe. Cafes like the “Schneiderei Cafe” or the “Café DreiEck” offer living room atmosphere in the neighborhood. The “Kiez” cinema “Krokodil” in Greifenhagener Strasse shows alternative movies from Russia and Eastern Europe. You can do your daily grocery shopping either at Lidl about 300 meters away at the Schönhauser- Arkaden, which can be reached by foot in about ten minutes.
