INTERIOR
This old style apartment is located in the quiet garden house facing the Belziger Strasse. It was renovated preserving many original details. These include, among other things, the wooden frame windows, the plank floor, the tube radiators or the floor-standing toilet. Thus, this idiosyncratic ambience was created.

The historical elements were paired with the most modern means of interior design to emphasize the almost industrial-like character: raw concrete floor, terrazzo floor and stainless steel details.

Bright, warm shades of Farrow & Ball colors on the walls along with the dark stained wooden floor bring warmth into the apartment.

All in all, it was worked with tasteful colors, materials and different styles that merge into a unique symbiosis.

The floor plan is optimized to meet all living needs. The two large rooms allow the clear separation of living, sleeping and working. The open kitchen area is directly connected to the living room or to a separate dining room. A large west-facing balcony offers to enjoy the sunset in the evening.

In sum, this apartment reflects a contrasting, exciting interior design, which is still experienced as harmonious and holistic.

OTHER
It is heated by a central heating (natural gas). The radiators in the living room and kitchen were renewed in 2018. Additional storage space is given by a spacious, dry basement room (about 8 square meters).

EXTERIOR
The apartment is located in a Wilhelminian style building whose architecture was inspired by classicism. The entrance portal with stairs and two entrance levels is characterized by functional and representative thoughts. These elements have been preserved during the renovation and have been restored to their original, formally sophisticated condition. The staircase has also been renovated keeping the materials and forms so it shines in new, old splendor. White and natural wood meet and create a warm and bright atmosphere. The building in its entirety radiates the restrained, classic elegance of this architecture, as intended at that time.

LOCATION
The apartment is located in the middle of Schöneberg, the know nightlife district with a lush selection of trendy restaurants and the perfect shopping.

The neighborhood offers all imaginable restaurants: from vegetarian (ammAmma), authentic Italian meat culture (To beef Or not To Beef) to Alsatian (Renger-Patzsch). Within walking distance there is also the coffee shop Double Eye and the eccentric store Kochlust, where you can get the right ingredients for your dinner with friends. The apartment is also not far from the Winterfeldmarkt, where you can stroll and shop wonderfully during the weekend. For the forgotten organic milk, the Bio Company is just a minute's walk away.

You can swim in the neighboring Stadtbad Schöneberg and jog in the opposite Heinrich Lassen Park. The public transport is offered by Yorckstrasse (S-Bahn), Eisenacher Strasse (subway) and several bus lines right outside the front door.
