INTERIOR
This modern, sunlit 3-room apartment has recently been renovated and modernized in a cool Scandinavian style. Many old details were preserved and reconditioned. Wooden windows and a new floor with wide, high-quality wooden floorboards in white glaze create a pleasant symbiosis to the white and smoothed walls of the apartment. The large, west-facing living and dining area with access to the balcony, integrates an open kitchen. The fitted kitchen is decorated in a noble shade of gray and has a black-stained worktop made out of larch wood, a large fridge-freezer and a dishwasher as well as a high-quality ceramic hob.
The two bright, spacious bedrooms are east-facing towards the quiet garden side and branch off opposite the hallway.
From there you also enter the daylight bathroom, which is particularly contemporary with its modern, stone-gray tiles on walls and floor. A high quality ceramic sink, towel heater and open shower underline its noble character.
EXTERIOR
The building from 1931 is part of a historic Bauhaus monument called "Rauchlose Siedlung" by the architects Paul Mebes and Paul Emmerich.
A sunny west-facing balcony is entered through the large living and dining area. This gives a clear view to the west and east.
The common garden is located towards the east and can be seen from both bedrooms. As a supplementary storage space, a large basement room belongs to the apartment.
LOCATION
Steglitz is an upscale, bourgeois district, where you can live both in a bourgeois idyll and still feeling the big city flair. This mix makes the district attractive for families with children, couples as well as students. They appreciate Steglitz because of its proximity to the university (FU Dahlem). Here you live comfortable, with green areas, culture and many shops close-by. Many parks such as the "Insulaner" with a summer bath, the nature park Schöneberger Südgelände and the city park Steglitz as well as elementary schools, day nurseries and a REWE supermarket are in the immediate vicinity.
The building is located in a quiet 30s zone with the 187 bus line right outside the front door. Furthermore, the S-Bahn station "Priesterweg" is within walking distance and the federal highway 103 can be reached in a few minutes by car. Here you do not only live comfortable, but also perfectly connected to the Berlin public transport.
