INTERIOR
This fantastic "Altbau" apartment is located on the fourth floor and thus guarantees light, air and sun all day long. The orientation towards the west and east underlines the brightness and provides a unique view of Berlin's skyline with the famous towers of the Frankfurter Tor.
The floor plan is optimally structured. All rooms branch off the generous hallway: master bedroom, study resp. the second bedroom, bathroom and the two very representative living and dining areas including kitchen. A large balcony is located in front of the representative rooms, so that one can read, eat, drink or just enjoy the view outside during the warmer months of the year.
The design concept of the apartment is extravagant and modern. This can already be seen in the color scheme. Here, the black of the wooden floor, the kitchen by Poliform, the Italian luxury kitchen manufacturer par excellence, and the black marble with white-brown veins on the kitchen unit, etc. join the white on the walls, ceilings, doors, windows and bathroom elements (Steinberg).
This contrast of black and white respectively light and dark, is complemented by earth tones of the precious brand Farrow & Ball. The warm colors achieve a sophisticated balance of colorful and achromatic colors, creating this unique ambience. Room heights and stucco complete this extraordinary living atmosphere.
In sum: interior design at its best. The selection of furniture also contributes to the coherent holistic overall concept.
And of course, everything is according to the latest technical standards. Everyone who loves something special, uncommon, away from the normal will find it here.
OTHER
All kitchen appliances come from Miele, Siemens and Bora. The following features also belong to the apartment: dark brown vintage genuine leather sofa from the Italian brand Poltrona Frau, generous cabinet with drawers and lighting from Poliform Varenna, vintage teak shelf, USM Haller desk, Vitra desk chair, vintage teak extending table with four upholstered teak chairs by Danish designer Erik Buch, dimmable halogen spotlights, security entrance door with steel plates and bar lock.
EXTERIOR
The noble impression welcomes the visitor as soon as he/she enters the house. The expressive black on the walls makes the white stucco on the ceiling, the walls and the console shine. Black and white tiles were matched to this color scheme. This unique entree experience is rounded off by designer lights, modern interpretations of crystal chandeliers.
The stairwell was authentically restored, including sisal runners with brass rails as a reminiscence of the history. Again, a sophisticated taste dominates. In addition, an elevator was installed in the courtyard.
The gray-colored façade, inspired by classicism, shines in its old splendor. And thanks to carefully renovated regularly arranged, standing window formats (new silence windows), the frames, the balconies, etc. it looks even better today than when it was built.
Thus, also from outside this building shows its own high-end class. Architectural history transferred to today in the most beautiful form, as one can imagine.
LOCATION
Here, you are in the middle of vivid Friedrichshain. However, thanks to the location on the 4th floor it is still quiet and private. The elevator takes you directly down to Warschauer Strasse and here you are surrounded by great cafes like the Books and Bagels or the popular Simon-Dach-Strasse with the Boxhagener-Kiez just around the corner. Within walking distance are also the exciting RAW- Gelände, the world-famous East Side Gallery and the Spree with the adjoining Rummelsburger Bucht. Due to the immediate proximity to Frankfurter Tor (subway) and Warschauer Brücke (S-Bahn) you are ideally connected to all public transport.
