State Studio

State was founded in 2016 by Laura Arledge, an award-winning, licensed interior designer. Following her studies in interior design and the fine arts at Colorado State University and Florence University of the Arts (Italy), she served with notable firms over the past 10 years, working on commercial, boutique hospitality, and residential projects worldwide. During this time, she led interior identity development of numerous new brands and re-brands, earning accolades from IIDA (International Interior Design Association) and ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). Articles on her work have been published in USA Today, Luxe, Modern in Denver, Colorado Homes & Lifestyles, and brochures and websites for national furniture manufacturers.
