Top 5 things you love about Puglia?
The things I love most about Puglia is that it has a unique charm with warm and intense colours, then there is the sea, with crystal clear waters. The kitchen is a fundamental element, typical Mediterranean cuisine where you can find everything nearby and of absolute quality - an internationally recognized cuisine. Another fundamental point is the people, we are welcoming and hospital and always try to help others. And we know how to have fun and entertain too.
One last thing I love, is the desire for revitalization and development that has taken place in recent years, both in terms of tourism and trade, we have a lot of production companies that value the concept 'made in Puglia'.
The place to visit which only locals know about?
Puglia is very large, full of history, art, culture, religion. It's very difficult to list places, but absolutely not to be missed are Monopoli, Polignano, Ostuni, Alberobello, Otranto, Lecce and I could continue indefinitely, each village is unique.
Best hidden swim spot?
One of my favorite places is lido Marzà, a private and unspoiled place, surrounded by nature, with its private beach, away from the confusion, I absolutely recommend it.
A restaurant that will make me fall in love with Puglia kitchen?
One of my favorite places is Dono restaurant of Masseria Garrappa www.masseriagarrappa.com where you have dinner practically in an orange grove. A unique atmosphere, a family restaurant, where there is an encounter between history - the mother cooks together with the new generations, a very interesting mix. All products are grown directly in the Masseria, from vegetables to oil production.
What to do a Saturday night?
This is also very difficult to tell, Puglia also excels for nightlife and fun and there are many places to party.
How can you describe life in Puglia for someone who would like to move here?
Puglia gives you that sense of peace and freedom, living in the history and culture - in a trullo, a farm, in the countryside or by the sea. It's a land that offers so much from all points of view, the people living here are very proud of this land and I know I'll return over and over again with great pleasure.
Your dream property to live in?
My dream is to live in the countryside with a swimming pool and close to the sea, surrounded by nature, watching every single sunset and organizing dinners with friends, family and enjoying the true meaning of life. That could be a nice goal.
