Casa do Cura is a townhouse at the crossroads of Lapa and Santos. The house has been crafted by the architecture studio Atelier AAVV in collaboration with designer Victoire de Lencquesaing (Main Edition). With 306,9 m² spread across four floors, three bedrooms, two garage spaces, a private patio and a separate studio, the house provides everything needed for family living. Its distinctive horizontal shape makes it a standout in this sought-after neighbourhood.

Carrying the memory of a pastoral Lisbon, Casa do Cura features high-end design elements and organic materials. The main entrance, marked by a raw sienna double door, leads to a spacious garage, a cloakroom, and a self-contained studio complete with its own bathroom and kitchen. Up the stairs, you will find a living area bathed in natural light. The open-plan kitchen features oak wood cabinets with nickel handles as well as the white wood-stain finished cabinetry, beautifully complementing the exposed wooden beams on the ceiling. Two glass doors open onto a cosy patio, where the terrazzo floor is made from old terracotta tiles and coloured marbles.

The second-floor features one master suite with a balcony, two bedrooms, one with another balcony, and another bathroom. Each detail, from the ceramic lamps to the wooden wardrobes, has been custom-designed by Victoire de Lencquesaing to create a cohesive aesthetic throughout the home. The bathrooms are finished with Portuguese stone and Red Alicante marble, complemented by handmade zinc wall lamps. The top floor includes an open space with a bathroom and three balconies offering panoramic views of Lisbon and the Tejo River.

Located in the most exclusive area in Lisbon, Casa do Cura is close to an abundance of cafés, museums, embassies, design shops and fine dining options. A two minute stroll takes you to Insaciável, a natural wine bar, and Salted Books, which offers a curated selection of English-language poetry and prose. A few more minutes down the street, you’ll find the buzzing Rua de Boavista with some of the coolest shops and eating spots, like the vibey Tricky's or the more relaxed Farès.
